Adedeji Adeleke, the father of award-winning singer Davido, has stirred the internet as he donated N1 billion to a church in Lagos.

The billionaire had reportedly attended a church service Thanksgiving service at Cherubim and Seraph Church Headquarters, Surulere, Lagos, with his famous son, alongside his brother, Governor Adeleke, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu. According to reports, the service is in memory of Adeleke’s Late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke.

In one of the videos from the event making rounds, the father had donated a whopping N1 billion to the church.

In July, Adedeji Adeleke pledged his support for first-class engineering degree graduates from the institution. Adeleke announced during his address at the university’s 10th undergraduate and 6th postgraduate convocation.

Adeleke stated that every first-class engineering student was welcome to serve at the branches of the Pacific Energy plant in Ondo or Ogun State for their National Youth Service Corps programme. Furthermore, Adeleke pledged automatic employment for these graduates after their service year.
