Rapper Kwesta to make his acting debut in Netflix film ‘Piano Love’ starring Bontle Modiselle-Moloi

Rapper Senzo Vilakazi will be making his acting debut this August in a new film “Piano Love”.

Kwesta is known for his top charting music which has earned him the respect as one of the top hip hop artists in the country. He has slowed down on releasing hits and has been growing his brand locally and internationally.

Fans will now see the rapper in a different light, as an actor and not as a music video acting kind, like movie acting.

Starring dancer Bontle Modiselle-Moloi, “Piano Love” is set to be released on Netflix on August 23 and is produced by award-winning BlackBrain Pictures.

Modiselle-Moloi is no stranger to South African screens from presenting and acting. She has been seen in productions such as “Jiva!”.

“From the vibrant streets of Soweto to the world, Black Brain Pictures brings you an unforgettable Amapiano love story.

“Starring none other than SA hip hop legend Kwesta, in his acting debut, and the queen of SA Dance, Bontle Modiselle-Moloi, #PianoLove promises to be a captivating thrill ride as we watch young love blossom against all odds.

“If you love South African music and dance culture, this one is for you!” read the caption on Instagram.

“Piano Love” will also see actor Given Stuurman make his screen return, many viewers last saw the actor on “Scandal!” where he portrayed the role of Khosi.

This is BlackBrain Pictures’ first production on the streaming giant, they have achieved huge success on local platforms Mzansi Magic and e.tv and now the rest of the world will see the amazing work they produce.
