On Sunday, Regina Chukwu was left emotional as her daughter graduated from Babcock University. Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of her and the graduate, she reflected on the time she drove her daughter and son to the school, and now, her daughter is a graduate.
Crediting it to her Maker, she noted how she is a single mother without any help or support from anyone. Yet, she was able to single-handedly see her kids through one of the most expensive private Universities in the country.
Last week, Iyabo Ojo, celebrated as her son, finally graduated from Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey. Sharing photos from the graduation ceremony, Iyabo appreciated her son for making her proud as she noted how his graduation is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
Iyabo used the opportunity to lament her plight as a single mother as she admitted that it hasn’t been easy, but she gives all glory to God. Iyabo further hailed all single parents, calling them the true heroes and champions.
