I can’t settle for less despite tough economy — Toke

At a time when many are grappling with the harsh realities of the country’s economy, popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, stands firm in her resolve not to compromise her standards.

In a recent Instagram post, Makinwa boldly declared that no matter the economic challenges, she would not suffer or settle for less.

She said, “No matter how tough the economy of the jungle gets, lions do not eat grass. We are the children of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. That means the devil cannot touch me. I don’t care what the economy is saying, I will not settle for less.

“You have to get to a point when the devil is trying to bring you down that you will say, ‘Who the hell are you talking to? Call my name with respect. Do you know who my father is?

“Some say we should have done certain things at this age, but we don’t come late, we don’t suffer. My father is a Lion. A cub is the child of a lion, and they are still lions. If you give up, it is you that ‘carry last’.”
